Handle registration, capacity, and choice logic for workshops, 1:1 slots, and bookable activities, inside the same agenda that runs the event.
Used by teams filling workshops, tracks and 1:1 slots without oversells

The operational reality
Workshops fill up. Two parallel tracks force a choice. A 1:1 consultation or a test drive needs a specific time slot, not a whole session. Teams end up running this through a patchwork: a form tool for sign-ups, a separate booking app for slots, a spreadsheet for overrides, and manual work to reconcile it all.
What it does
Each session carries its own rules: capacity, unregistration window, group eligibility, confirmations and calendar files, enforced automatically so a full session is blocked, never overbooked.
Registration blocks group parallel sessions into “pick N of M” logic: choose one of three, two of five, and the choice is enforced in the app.
Break a session window into bookable time slots for 1:1 meetings, test drives, consultations and rentals, each with its own capacity and active/inactive toggle.
Whether a group can see a bookable session and whether it may claim a seat in it are independent gates, and registering adds the attendee to a group automatically, so segmented communication follows the sign-up.
Across the event lifecycle
Bundle parallel sessions into a registration block: each attendee picks one, capacity counts down live, and the decision is data, not e-mail.
Generate time slots from one window: test drives, consultations, mentoring, each slot with its own capacity and confirmation.
In practice
A brand activation runs two demo cars through an afternoon. Set one session window, a 15 minute slot length and one seat per slot, and the grid builds itself. Attendees book from the app, every booking confirms with a calendar file, and when a car goes off for cleaning that slot is deactivated without disturbing the bookings already taken.
Guided tours of the venue, mentoring tables and advisory consultations all run on the window-into-slots model. Only the slot length and the seats per slot change, so one coordinator operates every bookable activity from the same screen.
Workshops can be built well in advance and held closed, so the earliest buyers do not quietly take every seat. At the announced moment registration opens to everyone already signed up, and capacity counts down from a level playing field.
Key features
Automatic blocking once a session is full, with the optional display of remaining seats.
Relative to session start (e.g. 24 hours before) or a fixed cutoff date.
A maximum number of sessions per attendee, choice enforced in the app.
Built from session window, slot length and break length, with per-slot capacity and an active/inactive toggle.
Registration-for-groups and visibility-for-groups as independent gates; registering feeds segmented e-mail, push and in-app content.
Confirmation e-mail with an .ICS attachment on registration, plus optional organizer notifications on every registration change.
What you get
Capacity is enforced where the session lives, no overbooking and no manual reconciliation after the fact.
Structured choice logic, 1:1 meetings, test drives and bookable activities all run on the same model as workshops.
Segmented communication without manual list-building, groups follow the sign-up, with a full attendee record per session ready for export.
