Check-in & On-site is the operational layer that moves attendees through the door: one QR code, one service app, one administration view, with badge printing and exception handling built in.
Used by teams getting thousands through the door without a queue

The operational reality
Queues form, tickets get lost in inboxes, VIPs arrive without a clear path, and someone always turns up unregistered. Running that with a paper list and a spare laptop scales poorly and leaves no usable record afterwards.
What it does
Scan each attendee's QR code from the confirmation e-mail, PDF ticket, or the Event App using the Service App on iOS or Android, and record every arrival as it happens.
Run multiple check-in points, each configured for the behavior it needs: check-in, check-out, one-time checks for vouchers, or recurring checks for zones and shuttles.
Surface group membership at scan time: VIP, Speaker, workshop track, so hostesses route the right people correctly, with attendee notes on hand.
Print name badges automatically on arrival via Bluetooth thermal printers, support self check-in stations, and record every scan for live headcount and reporting.
Across the event lifecycle
QR tickets scanned at any entry point: main door, workshop room or VIP lounge, with the attendee’s group shown the moment the code reads.
Badge printing fires on scan, self check-in stations absorb the rush, and every presence point stays in the record for the report.
Key features
Check-in (single entry), Check-out (leaving with a retained arrival record), One-time check (voucher or gift), and Recurring check (zones, shuttles, repeat access). The same scans can feed a gamification score in Leaderboard.
Group membership shows as you scan, driven by tickets, registration answers, workshop sign-ups or discount codes.
Brother QL-820NWB thermal printers paired over Bluetooth, with loaner printers available too. Two formats: 80 × 50 mm with QR for networking, and 70 × 29 mm name-only.
The Service App runs two ways. Staff mode is the hostess at the desk, scanning QR codes or checking people in by name. Kiosk mode is an unattended tablet on a stand: the attendee holds up their own QR, the screen confirms their name and ticket type, and the badge prints from their contact fields. A failed scan sends them to a staff member, so nobody hits a dead end.
A browser-based view to search, resend a confirmation with QR, generate a one-time login, mark arrival manually, and register fast on-site, plus attendee notes visible in the Service App.
Scan export and attendance statistics for reporting and reconciliation, with individual hostess accounts for a separate audit trail per staff member.
What you get
Under one second per attendee when the QR is ready, and reliable exception handling through Check-in, so QR-less guests don't stall the queue.
Structured routing of VIPs, speakers and workshop tracks through group-based recognition at the scan point.
A complete attendance record for reporting, invoicing and follow-up, and consistent check-in across recurring events, run the same way by different teams.
