Spořka day - a Happenee success story

In October 2020, Česká spořitelna (ČS) requested an internal conference online. And we at Happenee were glad to take part in their Spořka den. In addition to a customized interactive environment, Happenee prepared the conference day itself and delivered its content in a fun and engaging way.
The Context of the Event
The second wave of the pandemic was not easy for anyone. The measures affected everyone, both those working from home and those on location. Česká spořitelna wanted to demonstrate their gratitude to their employees by boosting the morale of their team.
Happenee had previously cooperated with Česká spořitelna, but we migrated fully to our virtual event platform this time. This change was welcomed. The event allowed for greater content diversity while simplifying the planning process on account of it being held virtually.
The Goals of the Event
The primary goal of the event was to bring as many ČS employees as possible together in one centralized place. Secondly, the event was to involve as many employees as possible and create a space that encouraged socializing.
Addressing the Challenges
Before Covid, virtual events were largely unknown and untested for large-scale corporate events. Our main challenge was anticipating and relieving the client’s concerns: reliability, accessibility, capacity and, more importantly, fun. Happenee was able to answer these concerns and deliver a technically accomplished event that exceeded the best elements of an off-line event.
A Summary of the Event Solution
Registration of the attendees took place through the Česká spořitelna website. All of the data was managed directly by ČS. On the day of the event, visitors connected to Spořka Den via a pre-prepared portal.
Visitors to the event were greeted by a fully virtual 3D lobby, custom-designed in ČS branding. The interactive elements of the lobby added value to the overall atmosphere. The whole immersive environment was fully interactive. Attendees had a full experience on the phone, computer or tablet.
The main events were accompanied by six virtual stands, which attendees could visit throughout the day. Presented there was information about the products and services offered by Česká spořitelna. This included pre-recorded videos and downloadable materials, such as PDF files, videos, and podcasts.
Attendees could rate each stand by a number of stars and vote in a thematic survey of the event. The average attendance per stand was 1,700 views. The main focal point of the whole event was the live stream. Attendees had the opportunity to chat with each other while watching the broadcast and direct their questions during the stream. Any questions, be they technical or related to the stream itself, were answered immediately by a chat moderator present at the event.

The Final Result
In total, 6,700 employees successfully registered for the event. A detailed guide was given prior to the event in cooperation with the client to ensure the event went off without a hitch. The feedback from attendees showed an overwhelming number of positive reviews and votes regarding the experience. Česká spořitelna recognized the utility of our virtual events and is considering the use of virtual along with offline to create hybrid events.

Direct Feedback
“We wanted the company to meet during the pandemic on a platform that would be accessible for all. This is why we chose Happenee to co-create the Spořka den with us,” says Kristýna Svobodová, Communication Specialist for Česká spořitelna.
